ODM schedules its NDC same day as Jubilee party
The Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) party will hold its National Delegates Conference on the same dates as the ruling Jubilee party.
Through a notice, the party has announced that 3000 delegates comprising of governors, deputy governors, MPs, top branch, county officials and MCA’s will be attending the meeting.
The NDC will be held next week on Saturday, 26th February at Nyayo National stadium starting from 9.00 am.
“Dear members and supporters, the National Delegates Convention (NDC) scheduled for Saturday 26th February 2022 is only for the 3,000 delegates comprising governors, Deputy governors, MPs, top branch and county officials and MCAs. It is a function of the National Executive Committee (NEC),” read the notice.
The NDC meeting is expected to endorse ODM party leader Raila Odinga’s presidential bid.
Meanwhile, the Jubilee Party will also hold their NDC on the same day at the Kenyatta International Conference Centre (KICC).
Jubilee vice-chairman David Murathe had announced they will have a twin NDC alongside ODM that will culminate in announcing Raila at Nyayo National Stadium as the joint presidential candidate.
