A somber mood has engulfed Olokurto area in Narok county after a man aged 62 years hacked his son aged 12 years old to death using a machete over unknown reasons.
According preliminary police findings, Samuel Landichi killed his son within his homestead by slashing him to the head using a panga.
The said suspect has since been arrested and is being detained at Olokurto Police Station pending arraignment tomorrow.
The Homicide detectives attached to the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI), Narok command have since taken over the murder probe.
The juvenile’s body has since been taken to Olenguruoni sub-county hospital Mortuary awaiting postmortem.
