5-storey building in Uthiru, Nairobi collapse, scores injured, all accounted for

All the 34 tenants in the collapsed five-storey building that came tumbling down yesterday in Nairobi have been accounted for.

However, the Kenya Red Cross said one tenant was rushed to hospital by well-wishers with ten others treated at the scene by the Red Cross Action team.

According to Nairobi County Chief Officer, Disaster Management and Coordination Bramwell Simiyu, all 34 tenants have been accounted for.

Simiyu said earlier concerns of four missing residents have been cleared.
