Independent candidates told to keep off Nyeri Jubilee rally
Jubilee candidates in Nyeri have asked other aspirants vying as independents or on affiliate parties to keep off from tomorrow’s campaign rally led by President Uhuru Kenyatta in Nyeri County.
Senatorial candidate Ephraim Maina and Mathira MP nominee Rigathi Gachagua stated that the independent candidates should organize` their own campaign rallies but not ride on Uhuru’s boat saying they lost in the party primaries.
Speaking in different functions in Nyeri County, Maina and Rigathi said that the independents led by Kiambu governor William Kabogo should put their house in order and avoid raising complaints when Uhuru Kenyatta endorses the jubilee candidates.
Rigathi said the losers should not try to heckle the president tomorrow reporting that he is at liberty to endorse his jubilee team noting that he is the party leader.
