Pastor charged with defiling a 6-year-old girl in Kawangware
A pastor has today been charged with defiling a girl, 6, who had visited his home to learn some beauty skills from his second wife.
Appearing before Magistrate William Tulel, Michael Masinde denied the charges.
Through his lawyer Robert Businge, the pastor urged the court to release him on lenient bond terms.
The magistrate released him on a Sh500,000 bond and directed that the matter proceeds on April 13.
He is said to have committed the offence on March 25 at Kawangware stage 56 in the Dagoretti sub-county, in Nairobi.
According to the detective report, the girl was playing with her friend when the accused person gave her friend some money to go and buy biscuits and summoned her to his house.
The pastor then locked the door from inside, undressed her, defiled her, and gave her some money to buy her silence.
The minor after leaving the pastor’s house is said to have experienced some walking difficulties and two boys, who she met on the way, noticed her and raised an alarm.
The pastor was arrested and taken to the police before he was arraigned.
