Ten escape death by a whisker after light aircraft crash at Lichota Airstrip in Migori county

Ten passengers narrowly escaped death after their plane crashed during takeoff at Lichota Airstrip in Migori.

The mishap occurred around noon today when a light aircraft operated by Z. Boskovic Air Charters Limited veered off the runway during takeoff.

The aircraft in question is registration number, 5Y-ZBW.

At the time, there were ten passengers on board, one crew member and the pilot.

However, no fatalities or injuries reported fatalities according to the statement from Z. Boskovic Air Charters Limited.

Boskovic Air Charters Limited has confirmed that they are working closely with relevant authorities to investigate the cause of the crash.
