Terror suspect Ali Hamis Mzomo alias Mure, 30, was this morning shot dead in Likoni area, Mombasa.
Area police boss Benjamin Rotich said police raided Mzomo’s house in Shika Adabu area at 3 am and killed him.
“We suspect he was in Somalia in the last three years. He returned two weeks ago,” Rotrich said.
Nothing was recovered from the house.
Sources indicate that he was among wanted terror suspects on police radar.
Police are expected to release more details later.
In August, anti-terrorism detectives said they were pursuing three wanted terror suspects in Mombasa.
