President Ruto appoint Samson Kipkoech to chair Tourism Fund Board
President William Ruto has made additional key appointments to the parastatals.
Through a gazette notice dated February 17,2023, the President appointed Samson Kipkoech to be the new chairperson of the Tourism Fund Board for a period of three years, replacing Alphonse Kioko whose appointment has been revoked.
At the same time, he appointed Dr. Abdillahi Ibrahim to chair the Kenya Medical Research Institute (KEMRI) after the appointment of Dr. Daniel Mbinda Musyoka was revoked.
Alfred Khang’ati was also appointed the chairperson of Nzoia Sugar Company Limited Board of Directors for a period of three years.
Khang’ati is the former Member of Parliament (MP) for Kanduyi Constituency. He served between 2008 and 2013, during which he was an Assistant Minister in the Office of the Prime Minister.
