‘No one must die’ over election outcome, Malema clarifies remarks on Raila

South African Economic Freedom Fighters Party leader Julius Malema has clarified his previous remarks on Azimio One Kenya Coalition party boss Raila Odinga saying no Kenyan should lose life over poll outcome after spirited castigation by Raila’s lieutenants.

In a quick rejoinder, Malema said that the Azimio legislators and affiliates misunderstood him saying he meant that no one should die for Raila to be president adding that the law can be followed.

He said the misunderstanding is what made him to be sternly warned against coming to Kenya.

He added that proper channels should be followed when someone feels unsatisfied with election results

“The other time I spoke harshly on how Raila Odinga handled the election results and his people asked me to stop and never to step foot in Kenya. What I meant is that no one needs to die in order for Raila to be President even if his votes are clearly robbed and there is evidence.” Malema said.

The outspoken leader said election malpractices are all over the world citing that even former USA President Donald Trump complained of such when he failed to win the second term but people did not die at the end of it.

Saboti Member of Parliament Caleb Amisi said they had been touched by the remarks of Malema previously but when he castigated president Ruto yesterday it showed he understands Malema’s tactics.

“When you touched on our Baba we were a bit down but yesterday’s speech has already forgiven you. Feel forgiven because what you said was everything and you are now you can walk around freely.” Amisi said.

Amisi compared Malema to Social Constructivist Alexander Wendt who said that “anarchy is what the state make of it”

The legislator said as young parliamentarians in the continent they’ll create anarchy until they get there as the spirit of fight is all over.

“Alexander Wendt said Anarchy is what the state makes of it and probably he had not met Malema because Anarchy is what Malema makes of it because where you go you create anarchy, you create chaos and that is what we need to do. We need to disturb the stubborn status quo until we get there and so Malema we are together in this journey.” Amisi added.

Yesterday, Malema hit out at Ruto for failing to deliver the promises he made to Kenyans during the Campaign period.

Malema said Ruto has changed and he is no longer the person he was while he was urging Kenyans to vote for him.

He added that Malema said it was wrong for the head of state to shake hands and smile with the King and Queen.
