Laikipia residents urged to vote in large numbers during JP primaries
Residents of Laikipia have been urged to come out in large numbers during the Jubilee Party nominations that will be held in April.
Laikipia Senator GG Kariuki noted that the nominations will mark the first round of election in areas that support the party and this can be a major blow if people do not come out and vote for their favourite candidates.
Addressing a meeting at Wiyumiririe in Laikipia Central Kariuki, said many people do not come out during party primaries a thing that leads to bad leaders clinching the favorite party tickets that see them through during the general election.
The law maker who has vowed to defend his seat said that he has not seen anyone who can replace him.
He dismissed those ditching the party for fear of failing in the nominations.
