Uhuru calls for strengthening of devolution at governor’s summit

President Uhuru Kenyatta adressing business leaders at State House on Monday September 11 2017,he has said that if elected NASA leader Raila Odinga will be unable to govern the country as he does not have numbers in Parliament

President Uhuru Kenyatta has urged governors to strengthen devolution in the next five years in order to better the lives of Kenyans.

Speaking in Kwale County during the launch of the governors conference at Diani Reef Hotel, the president stressed that it is important that county governments adapts resource allocation formula so that Kenyans can benefit from the government.

“I am willing and looking forward to work with you individually and collectively regardless of your political affiliation, mine is to ensure we deliver services to our people, ensure we transform the lives of Kenyans wherever they may be,” he said.
