Seidel Foundation launch Badilico Digital platform

The youth in collaboration with Hanns Seidel Foundation have launched the Badilico Digital Platform today in Nairobi.

Badilico, a gamification of politics is aimed to create awareness of good leadership and address the problem of youth distrust in political systems so as to keep the millennials in touch with most of their leaders.

The platform also aims to be the premier platform that unites youth and leaders in the country.

“We’re changing that. We have created a first of a kind mixed reality digital platform known as Badilico,” Muhoya Ngatia, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Badilico said.

Those in attendance were equipped with knowledge about the design and development of Badilico games as they were engaged with strategies to explore in order to achieve the overall objective of proactively engaging the youth in the political decision-making process.

The social enterprise initiative based in Nairobi seeks to bridge the gap between decision makers and youth through the use of technology, working towards promoting the “spirit of democracy” in the country.
