Roads construction on course despite political uncertainties – PS
Permanent Secretary for Roads John Mosonik has said political uncertainties in the country have not affected roads construction work nationally and thus everything is going on as planned.
The PS said the Ministry of Roads is running on a tight schedule that entails going all over the country to check on the progress of the ongoing road construction projects, hence downplaying any negative impact by the current political situation.
The PS said this today while addressing conference in Nyeri on the status of ongoing projects in Nyeri County and other parts of Mount Kenya region.
He in the same breadth said that the government has been able to make payments to all contractors on completed works in respect to the specific timelines that guides the same.
