Twitter went down on Tuesday evening in what the management said was a technical hitch.
“Something is technically wrong. Thanks for noticing. We are going to fix it up and have things back to normal soon,” the message from the firm read.
Users across the World complained that they are being shown an unhappy robot and a message that the site has broken.
Those who tried to log into the website received an error message: “Something is technically wrong”.
The service suffered widespread problems on both mobile and desktop.
