Detectives in Busia have launched a manhunt for a suspect who allegedly chopped off his wife’s hands following a disagreement.
The suspect, Benard Ouma is accused of seriously assaulted his 32-year-old wife by chopping off her hands before escaping on a waiting motorcycle at Sikarara area in Batula.
According to the victim’s elder sister, she was not aware of any wrangle existing between the couple.
“As detectives search for the cruel husband identified as Benard Ouma, the victim is being treated at the Busia County Referral Hospital,” stated Directorate of Criminal Investigation (DCI).
Police have began more investigations to establish the cause of the gruesome attack.
