Njerae upbeat for the release of her latest love anthem ‘Nyumbani’
Acclaimed Afro-Indie Kenyan singer, songwriter, and producer Njerae is back to serenade the airwaves with her latest love song, Nyumbani.
The new track, a heartfelt ode to love and belonging, is produced by the renowned Wonda Magik, while the captivating visualizer is directed by the talented King Khassidy.
Nyumbani is a soulful and intimate offering that showcases Njerae venturing a profound and warm Amapiano sound—a seamless blend of rich Afro-inspired melodies and contemporary indie vibes.
The release comes at an exciting time in Njerae’s career. The singer recently hit a major milestone of 100,000 monthly listeners on Spotify, solidifying her place as a rising star in the Kenyan music scene.
Adding to her growing accolades, Njerae has earned a continental nomination at this year’s prestigious Africa Choice Awards (ACA).

Njerae’s music is Afro-Indie with a touch of R&B and soul. She has played at Folk Fusion, Jamhuri Jam Sessions, Gig Dynamics Open House, and several of her own curated events.
This year, she released her EP, Out With The Old, on which she collaborated with artistes like Watendawili, Lisa Odour-Noah, Mbithi and Maali.
