Kabogo accuses Waititu of buying ID cards from voters

Kiambu Governor, William Kabogo, has cautioned Kiambu residents against selling their Identity Cards. He termed it as his opponents’ game to play cheap politics.

Kabogo, who was accused of pioneering the buying of ID cards from Kiambu residents, denied the allegations terming it a ploy by the opponents to frame him.

He dismissed Kabete MP Ferdinand Waititu’s claims that he was the mastermind of the ongoing purchase of IDs for Ksh 500 in the region.å

The county boss noted that the culprits in the scheme were asking residents to sell them their IDs under his name.

He asked the residents to hand over the culprits to the security forces for interrogation since they were tainting his image and name.å
