NASA told to stop 10 million votes claims
The NASA coalition has been urged to shun telling lies that they have 10 million votes as this might turn the country into turmoil if they fail to get the votes in August.
Devolution and National Planning Cabinet secretary Mwangi Kiunjuri noted that the Opposition is trying to lie to Kenyans so that they might think what they are saying is true and the the coalition may use this to claim the elections were rigged if they fail to win power in August.
Addressing a gathering at Ol Moran in Laikipia County when he distributed relief food to over 2000 people who were hit by drought, Kiunjuri said that there was intelligence that 19 million votes will be cast and NASA should not lie that they will carry the day.
He noted that when a lie is repeated many times it looks like the truth and that is what the opposition is doing to its followers without thinking of the outcome.
Kiunjuri noted that they have been relying on votes from the counties that have been branded as the one that will have the swing votes but currently most of those regions are pro Jubilee.
