Namibian President Hage Geingob leaves Kenya after four day visit
Namibian President Hage Geingob left Kenya on Monday after a four-day visit.
Foreign Affairs Cabinet Secretary Monica Juma saw him off at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport together with other government officials.
Geingob held talks with President Uhuru Kenyatta at State House and oversaw the signing of key bilateral agreements between the two countries.
The visiting President pledged to deepen trade and investment ties between Kenya and his country.
“Let us deepen our trade, elevate our cooperation and educate our people. With the support of other multilateral connections, Africa will continue with its established economic growth and development,” Geingob said.
The Southern African Development Community chairman said he will push for investment strategies and economic growth of all African countries.
The Namibian Head of State and First Lady Monica arrived in Kenya last Thursday. They were received at State House by President Uhuru and First Lady Margret on Friday.
