Emin Pasha Hotel inks partnership deal with Babylon Hospitality

The collaboration marks a significant milestone in Uganda's hospitality landscape, aiming to redefine Emin Pasha's positioning and reinforce its status as Kampala's leading boutique hotel.

One of Kampala’s most iconic boutique properties Emin Pasha Hotel has entered into a partnership with Babylon Hospitality, a hotel management company with properties in key destinations across Kenya, Uganda, Spain and Italy.

The pact is aimed at meeting the demanding needs of Uganda’s growing tourism sector.

The collaboration marks a significant milestone in Uganda’s hospitality landscape, aiming to redefine Emin Pasha’s positioning and reinforce its status as Kampala’s leading boutique hotel.

With a shared vision of enhancing the country’s hospitality standards, the two entities are set to introduce innovative guest experiences that align with the growing expectations of both local and international travellers.

Additionally, the partnership will see the creation of new exciting restaurant concepts that will add quality to Kampala’s dining scene.

Proprietor of Emin Pasha Hotel Kennedy Losuk Lokule highlighted the significance of this partnership in shaping Uganda’s hospitality future.

On his part, Babylon Hospitality Founder and CEO, Ludovico Dupre, said Uganda’s tourism sector has immense potential, and with the partnership, there is an immense opportunity to elevate the East African nation’s hospitality offering.

At the heart of this partnership is the creation of brand-new restaurant concepts, set to launch from March 2025 onwards.

Beyond elevating the city’s gastronomy, the new restaurants will seek to generate employment opportunities, foster local talent, and contribute to the growth of Uganda’s hospitality sector.

Through this partnership, both companies are committed to position Uganda as a premier luxury travel destination, raise service standards to global hospitality excellence, create local jobs and nurture Ugandan talent in hospitality, and champion sustainable tourism and responsible practices.
