A Kenya police reservist was killed yesterday at dawn by suspected Al
Shabaab insurgents after they attacked an eatery near the deputy
governor’s house.
The extremists’ attacked the food joint adjacent Equity bank.
However, the Kenya Defence Forces (KDF) officers promptly responded to
the incident and sealed off the area.
The attack comes amid an already imposed dusk-to-dawn curfew in Mandera.
