Kenya Airways to reduce weekly flights to US starting January 2019

National carrier Kenya Airways will cut to five, weekly flights on the Nairobi-New York route starting January.

CEO Sebastian Mikosz told Citizen TV on Wednesday that the move follows low demand during the winter season.

“By end of January, we will have five daily flights and we will see how the market evolves until May or June then shift back to daily flights. In winter, we will go back to five flights daily,” he said.
