Karua loses bid to nullify entire August election

Narc Kenya leader Martha Karua was on Thursday dealt a blow in her bid to have the court nullify the entire August 8 election.

The Kerugoya High Court said the application lacks merit and does not raise any substantive issue of the law for the formation of a three-judge bench to hear the matter.

Justice Lucy Gitari said the issue the petitioner raised is already taken care of in her petition against Kirinyaga Governor Anne Waiguru.
