IPA Kenya section donate foodstuffs, wheelchairs to a Ruai based children’s home in Nairobi

The International Police Association (IPA) in partnership with the National Police Service (NPS) yesterday donated foodstuffs and wheelchairs to Compassionate Hands for the Disabled Foundation, a children’s home based in Ruai, Nairobi.

The home houses 104 children all of whom are differently abled.

The officers were welcomed by the Foundation’s Executive Director Anne Njeri who expressed deep appreciation to the NPS for supporting the institution during the festive season.

The delegation which was led by the IPA Kenya Section National Secretary General and Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Jared Ojuok.

Among the items handed over include over five wheelchairs, 50kgs of green grams, 50kgs of yellow beans, 50kgs of rice, 50kgs millet flour, 5 bales of maize flour, 5 bales of wheat flour, 40 litres of cooking oil and assorted toiletries.
