Gachagua comes to the defense of embattled Koome

Former Deputy president Rigathi Gachagua has condemned the alleged scheme to remove Chief Justice Martha Koome from office saying that the state is after Koome for her stand against impunity.

Speaking during a church service at PCEA Imenti North Presbytery in Meru County, the former DP has asked the government to stop any attempt to remove her from office citing that it is a scheme to silence dissenting voices.

The Ex DP has said that it has been a scheme to systematically first remove him from office then remove the Chief Justice and later dismantle the Judiciary in the preparations to rig the general elections.

Gachagua has as well asked CJ Koome not to be intimidated and stay put. He has well asked the International Community to put an eye in Kenya and record all the happenings because the state has already captured the legislature and executive and it is on its way to capture the judiciary.

On the Unity of the Mountain, Gachagua has asked the residents of the mountain to remain united alleging that president Ruto’s attempt to divide the region has been defeated. He was accompanied by his spouse Pastor Dorcas Rigathi and both local and national leaders.
