Drunk drivers could soon work in morgues

he National Transport and Safety Authority (NTSA) has proposed a new law to curb drunk driving amongst motorists.

Drivers, caught driving under the influence of alcohol, will be required to work in the morgue as punishment.

NTSA said the current laws are too lenient to the drunk drivers and the vice will not stop unless stringent punishments are introduced.

“We shall implement the policy once it becomes law,” NTSA Director General Francis Meja said.
