He offered his condolences to the family of Nyamira Governor John Nyangarama who succumbed to COVID-19 complications this morning.
He urged the clergy to continue praying for 852 patients currently admitted to various hospitals across the country. 49 of them are in Intensive Care Units (ICU) while 39 are on supplementary oxygen.
Eleven more patients have succumbed to coronavirus in the country raising the death toll to 1,629.
