City businessman petitions DPP to prosecute senior Paramount Bank staff linked to illegal possession of Sh400m land

A city businessman has petitioned the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) Noordin Haji to intervene and prosecute some senior bank staff linked to illegal possession of a Sh400 million land in Parklands, Nairobi.

Zaverchand Ramji Shah, wants the DPP to institute prosecution against senior Paramount Bank officials, whom he accused of unlawfully being in possession of his land.

The matter has been investigated by DCI detectives from Lands Fraud Units but still waiting for the DPP decision on way forward. Last month, Central Bank of Kenya commenced investigations into the matter.
