The National Assembly committee on constituency development fund has proposed a budget of Sh35b in the next financial year, 2017/2018.
Speaking during a committee members field visit in Maragua constituency, an area voted as the best in CDF utilization, the committee chair Hon Moses Lessonet proposed the budget to enable them focus much in education and security sector.
He said they hope the judiciary will fast track the CDF case pending in court before the end of the year, stating the current year budget was slashed by Sh10b.
