KURA issues one day traffic disruption advisory to Outer Ring Road motorists

Kenya Urban Roads Authority (KURA) has urged motorists using Outer Ring Road to seek alternative routes as the road is set to be closed this Sunday as from 8:00am to 4:00pm.

According to the authority, this is to allow the contractor to install footbridge trusses.

“We wish to notify the general public that a section of Outer Ring Road Will be closed at Taj Mall/Pipeline on Sunday, August 1, 2021 from 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m,” read the statement.

Motorists heading to Nairobi have been advised to use Mombasa Road and Quarry Road, while those heading to Thika Road to use Eastern Bypass.

“We apologise for the inconvinience that may be caused as we endavour to enhance urban mobility,” state the authority.
