Mystery as senior Kenya Air Force officer found dead inside his car in Eastleigh
Police have launched investigations after the death of a senior Kenya Air force officer Colonel Flavian Mwangi Waweru.
The deceased’s body was found inside his car yesterday, September 27, 2022 near the Moi Air Base on Juja road, Nairobi county.
According to a police report, witnesses alerted the military personnel after seeing the car there for a long time who in turn rushed to the scene.
According to police report seen by The Informer, Waweru had left the base at 4 PM heading to Nairobi town.
He was among the officers who had spearheaded the closing ceremony of the Kenya Air Force New Soldiers Sports Talent Search Championship 2022 at the Sina Makosa Stadium on September 22 and 23.
Waweru was the Commandant of Kenya Air Force (KAF) Training Wing.
