Five people including a Kirinyaga University female student were Sunday evening killed after a motorcycle they were riding on was hit by car at Kagumo town in Kirinyaga County.
Three of them died on the spot while the other two died while receiving treatment at the ACK Mt. Kenya Hospital in Kerugoya.
According to police reports, the five were heading to Kerugoya market when they were hit by an oncoming Karatina-bound car.
