Jematia call for speedy probe against cattle raider Lomada in Baringo
Baringo county Women Representative Florence Jematia has called out on cattle raiders in Baringo.
She urged the government to speed up action on the cattle raider, Lomada, who had acquired stolen cattle.
“I know of a bandit called Lomada who has colonised Arabal area and has now recruited over 30 soldiers who are terrorizing people. He should be arrested immediately,” Jematia said.
She also said that most leaders had conspired to make people’s lives miserable.
“The biggest bandit is seated in parliament together with other leaders who were MCA’s, chiefs and elders who plot on how to make people’s lives miserable,” she alluded.
She said that she will not hesitate to take action on the bandits.
Jematia called out on Tiaty Member of Parliament William Kamket who she said had to answer on the banditry attacks.
“I have told Kamket that I will take action on him. As long as we are still burying people in Baringo, I will not allow any bandit to walk free just because you are a leader. The fact remains that you’re a bandit,” she added.
