A Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) employee died yesterday after falling at the agency’s headquarters at Times Tower Nairobi.
Through a statement, the agency said that the employee succumbed to injuries while being attended to by the KRA medical team and an emergency response team.
“The Authority’s medical team responded immediately and performed first aid while calling for medical assistance. The emergency medical team arrived immediately and took over the emergency care,” it added.
According to the authority, it is not yet clear what occurred and the incident and investigations are still underway.
“KRA remains committed to the health and safety of its staff and is saddened by this unfortunate occurrence,” KRA stated.
“The incident is under investigation by law enforcement agencies,” the agency added.
