Business has been paralysed at the Eldoret Law Courts, including the High Court, due to lack of magistrates and judges.
Lawyers on Monday staged sit-in to in a bid to pile pressure on the Judicial Service Commission to post more court officers to the station.
The lawyers said there was 4,000-case backlog at the station that serves counties in North and South Rift.
