Cash strapped KBC ordered to pay Sh2M to former journalist for wrongful dismissal

Cash strapped Kenya Broadcasting Corporation ordered to deposit Sh2 million  that it was ordered to pay its former Journalist Soyinka Lempaa for wrongful dismissal  in a joint  account with Mr. Soyinka lawyer.

Soyinka is a former journalist with the Nation Media Group and KBC before he was terminated by Charles Waithaka Waihenya on the 6th day of July 2012.  They have given 30 days by justice Maurine Onyango to deposit the cash.

Meanwhile the  case where former managing Director  Waithaka   Waihenya  has appealed a decision that ousted him as the MD  after he was found to have   interfered  with the recruitment of MD in 2011 where he was eventually employed  is still pending in the court.
