Husband from hell flee after brutal wife’s assault in Nyahururu

Police in Nyahururu, Laikipia county are hunting down a husband who severally stabbed and chopped off his 46-years old wife fingers leaving her for the dead.

The incident which occurred yesterday within Kanga area in Shamanei sub-location, Laikipia County.

According preliminary police findings, the victim identified as Juliet Nyambura Mwangi is recuperating at the Nyahururu County Referral Hospital.

The matter was reported at the Losogwa Police Station.

The susoect, James Irungu Mwangi fled immediately after committing the attack and he is still at large following a suspected domestic scuffle.

Police and medical report show Nyambura sustained deep cuts on the left ear and both shoulders.

Also, her right hand’s first and second fingers, as well as her left thumb and first finger were chopped off.
