Kiambu County Jubilee gubernatorial nominee Ferdinand Waititu has denied claims that he sought the services of witchdoctors to emerge victorious in the party primaries.
Waititu speaking at the PCEA church in Thika town on Sunday, Waititu said that the allegations by the incumbent governor William Kabogo that some politicians in Kiambu County sought the services of witchdoctors to win the jubilee nominations.
Waititu who overwhelmingly won Jubilee party primaries defended his relationship with Christ dismissing claims allegedly made by Kabogo that United for Kiambu leaders where he is the chairman were devil worshippers.
Waititu attributed his irresistible victory in JP nominations to good relationship with God downplaying Kabogo’s campaign tactics.
“I have all my life depended on God for survival and my relationship with Him showed up during the JP primaries where I trounced the sitting governor. Am urging you to heed to president Uhuru’s plea and give him soldiers from his party,” insisted Waititu.
For the first time since Jubilee Party nominations were held, Kiambu gubernatorial rivals William Kabogo and Ferdinand Waititu shared a podium during a church service.
Kabogo who is the incumbent governor took to the podium to woo faithful’s to give him a second term citing that his development record was unquestionable.
