Flying Squad police officers found house and office goods worth millions of shillings when they raided a building in Eldoret town on Wednesday.
A suspect was arrested in the operation that followed an alert by residents, said Eldoret West OCPD Samuel Mutunga.
Mutunga said what they recovered included mobile phones, laptops and TV sets they believe were stolen from homes and offices in the town.
“It’s a breakthrough because break-ins have been on the increase…we are now rounding up those involved,” he said when police put the items on display atEldoret police station.
This was the second police raid in two weeks. The first took place a week ago at Kambi Mwangi estate where similar items were recovered.
