All police officers attached to Kware Police Station in Embakasi adjacent to the Kware dumpsite where recovery of full and mutilated bodies of youthful victims believed to be aged 18 to 30 years old is ongoing have been transferred to deter possible interference with the horrific murder probe in waht police say could be linked to serial killer gang, rogue medical practitioners or a cult.

The Acting Inspector General of Police (IGP) Douglas Kanja has made the announcement today saying the move will ensure a fair and balanced investigation.

He also indicated the murders could be linked to a serial killer gang, cult or rogue medical practitioners.

“We recovered eight bodies from Kware dumpsite in Nairobi. Their age is between 18-30. All are female. Are we dealing with a cult, serial killers, rogue medical practitioners? We have deployed our best investigators.” The DCI boss said.

“We intend to conduct postmortem examinations tomorrow and we are inviting all stakeholders, civil society, family members, members of the fourth estate because we are not hiding anything. It is our conviction that ultimately, we will be able to resolve these heinous murders.” Amin noted.

He said the perpetrators’ mode of operation is the same and they are looking at various scenarios including cults, serial killers, or even rogue medical practitioners in criminal activities.
