Seven people have been confirmed dead and at least 25 others injured in a grisly accident involving a Public Service Vehicle (PSV) bus and a trailer at Hill Tea area near Timboroa on the busy Eldoret-Nakuru highway.
Confirming the incident, Eldama Ravine police boss, Agnes Kamau, said the accident involved a Kakamega-bound Crown Company bus and a truck.
“Police are currently continuing with rescue operations. Four among the seven dead are children,” said the police boss.
The injured were taken to different hospitals in Eldoret town for treatment.
