President Uhuru Kenyatta will tomorrow make a visit in the stronghold bases of his political nemesis and the National Super Alliance ( Nasa) presidential candidate Raila Odinga at the height of political campaigns ahead of next month polls.
President Uhuru will be the first head of state since 2002 to visit Raila’s backyard to seek for votes few days to the general election.
In 2007 , former president Mwai Kibaki avoided Raila’s backyard during his re- election campaigns while Uhuru and his deputy William Ruto failed to set foot in Kisumu to campaign for their election.
Today, Uhuru is expected to visit Kisumu, Homa Bay and Migori counties to commission and inspect several government projects.
The president will be making his seventh and first visit in Kisumu and Homa Bay counties respectively since taking over power in 2013.
During his last visit in Kisumu in April this year, President promised to make a comeback in the lake side city to seek for votes for his re- election.
