Jubilee West Pokot county leaders have condemned chaos witnessed on Tuesday in the County ahead of President Uhuru Kenyatta’s visit where by more than four people were injured.
The leaders accused their Kanu rivals the disrupting of their rally despite them cautioning them not to attend.
The leaders castigated Kanu members for forcing to attend the meeting that was purely planned for the Jubilee Party members .
During the rally which was held at Chelang’a gardens in Makutano Township Kapenguria, more than four people and school children were seriously injured after youths from Kanu and Jubilee Parties engaged in running battles.
Led by West Pokot Governor Simon Kachapin and Pokot South MP David Pkossing among other Jubilee leaders from the county ,the leaders faulted their Kanu rivals for following them and organizing parallel campaign meetings in the same venue.
