Detectives in Yala, Siaya County are looking for a 28-year-old man suspected of killing his neighbour in Onyoso village in Gem.
George Onyango hit Marvin Onyango, his neighbour, on the head using a club.
According to Directorate of Criminal Investigation (DCI), Onyango had been angered by Marvin’s sentiments that prompted him to reach for the murder weapon.
“Preliminary investigations reveal that prior to the incident, the deceased had been mocking the suspect for being a Johnny-come-lately in marrying his wife, after what the deceased described as ‘being assisted by other men!’,” stated DCI.
Detectives are hunting down the suspect to answer to murder charges.
