Franklin Munyao, a waiter by profession, is accused of strangling his 40-year-old lover in Kambi Moto, Ruiru, Kiambu County and wrapped her body in a polythene bag before hiding it inside his rented single room.
A foul smell emanating from Munyao’s house prompted neighbours to file a report with police.
Authorities rushed to his house, broke down the door and found the deceased wrapped in a nylon bag, placed on the bed and her pair of trousers had slightly been lowered.
