Five family members and a casual labourer murdered in cold blood in Ndenderu, Kiambu County

Homicide detectives attached to the Directorate of Criminal Investigations have been dispatched to unravel the macabre killings of five nuclear family members and their gardener in Karura Village, Kiambu County.
The six were gruesomely murdered in what is suspected to be premeditated execution in gangland style depicting possible pre-planned extermination or revenge attack.

Eyewitnesses said the worker’s head had been severed and dumped outside his employer’s house while the torso was left at the neighbouring compound.
The family has three other children who had already reported back to school.
Police are yet to establish the motive of the gruesome murders.
In what points to murder most foul, the scene of crime was full of blood manifesting the pain the kins’ suffered before taking their last breath.
Kiambu area is notorious with unexplained cases murders.
In 2017, four teenagers were killed and their bodies found abandoned in a private car in Wangige.
Two lifeless bodies were on the back seat of a heavily tinted Toyota Succeed while two more were stuffed in the boot of a car, registration number KBY 611 W.
The bodies remained in the car, parked next Jack Apartments and a nearby garage for more than fifteen hours without the neighbours noticing.
Preliminary police investigations showed they could have died of strangulation and trauma.
They had visible marks on the neck and swollen bodies an indication they could have been tortured before they were killed.
The bodies also had serious head injuries and blood oozing from their mouths.
A lone driver is said to have dumped the car around 5am in the morning.
Police suspect the four where killed elsewhere and dumped there.
After realizing the vehicle had been parked oddly for many hours, they peeped and to their astonishment saw the bizarre reality and informed the informed.
In 2016, mutilated bodies of two Nakuru businessmen Joseph Chege alias Jose and Simon Wachira alias Shem were found abandoned in a thicket at Kamae Forest in Kiambu a week after they were reportedly abducted at gunpoint by four men.
