A middle-aged man died on the spot after he was hit by a speeding six wheeler truck along the Eldoret-Nairobi highway in Nakuru Town.
According to witnesses, the man whose identity was not immediately established was crossing the dual carriage road after he was dropped by a matatu when he met his untimely death.
The witnesses added that a smaller car driven along the service lane had stopped and given him chance to cross the road but the truck came in at high speed in the second lane and knocked him down.
