In an armature video, the legislator is captured arrogantly flouting traffic rules in Nairobi in botched attempt to push off other motorists from the road.

Wangui was charged that on the night of June 4, 2011 at Kenol Night Club in Embu town, she was found being in possession of a semi-automatic pistol Parjo Taurus loaded with 12 bullets while drunk and behaving in a disorderly manner.
When she appeared before Embu chief magistrate Margaret Wachira, she denied the offense. The magistrate released her on Sh30,000 bond.
