Sh19M theft case involving children of former MP adjourned

A case in which three children of former Nakuru North MP Kihika Kimani are charged with stealing assorted goods worth Sh19 million was today adjourned after prosecution asked for more time.

State prosecutor Hillary Songoyo applied adjournment saying that the magistrate handling the matter was on recess adding that transferring it to another court—at this point—would jeopardize the case.

“We humbly request for more time until the trial court resumes next week because that particular court has already heard most of the witnesses,” he said.

The three— Catherine Kihika, Caroline Kihika and Anthony Kihika— all siblings to Nakuru County Assembly speaker Susan Kihika are facing theft charges where they are accused of stealing assorted school items worth Sh19 million from Kenya School of Talent within Nakuru county.
