David Ndii’s passport suspended amid Raila oath crackdown

The immigration department has suspended NASA strategist David Ndii’s passport.

In a letter dated February 5, outgoing director of immigration service Gideon Kihalangwa invoked Section 31 of the Kenya Citizenship and Immigration Act, 2011.

He said the passport No.C0512558 remains suspended with immediate effect.

“You are required to submit the passport to the director of immigration services at Nyayo House within 21 days,” the letter reads in part.

The department did not state the reason for suspending the passport.

Ndii is among the people who were at the core of Raila Odinga’s swearing-in that happened on January 30.
